HIMALAYAN CHILI POWDER
Chili powder can also be known as chili pepper, or cayenne pepper. It is used in many different cuisines to add flavor and pungency to dishes, including Tex-Mex, Indian, Chinese, Korean, and Thai. Chili powder is also known to have several health benefits, including red blood cell formation, maintaining healthy blood pressure, digestion, fighting infections, and is good for the hair and skin. We offer ground chili powder, sourced from the foothills of the Himalayas in Nepal.
HIMALAYAN TURMERIC POWDER
Turmeric’s mild, warm, and peppery taste is commonly used for vegetable sautés, rice, soups, tea, smoothies, and even eggs. It is a key ingredient in curry and other southern Asian cuisines. Turmeric also contains special medicinal value and is traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine for many conditions, such as asthma, rheumatologic conditions, pain, and fatigue. Today, it is also commonly used as a dietary supplement for inflammation, arthritis, stomach, skin, liver, and gallbladder problems, and cancer. Turmeric’s underground stems (rhizomes) are dried and made into capsules, tablets, teas, or extracts. Turmeric grows in southern Asia and Central America. We offer ground turmeric, sourced from the foothills of the Himalayas in Nepal.
HIMALAYAN GARLIC POWDER
Garlic can add flavor to any dish and is used extensively in cooking such as meat, vegetables, soups, stews, roasts, stirfrys, stuffings, salad dressings, etc. Garlic is often used as a dietary supplement for ailments such as high blood cholesterol and blood pressure, the common cold, and as a preventative approach to preventing cancer and other diseases We offer ground garlic, sourced from the Himalayan foothills of Nepal.
HIMALAYAN TEA MASALA
Tea Masala is a famous traditional drink in Nepal and other parts of southern Asia and is often referred to as chai tea, which usually consists of a mix of cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, black pepper, and bay leaves steeped with milk, water, sugar, and black tea leaves. Our Tea Masala is sourced from the foothills of Himalayan Nepal and provides a convenient pre-mixed blend of cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, and bayleaf that can be used in your favorite recipe.
